The purpose of this document is to provide instructions on how to set up the scanner and tablet before testing. This document also provides a reference to all parts within the public safety and cellular network testing solution kit for user to setup the kit easily.

Battery Pack (OP412)
- Charging:
IBflex scanner - Place both batteries into the battery pack, connect power cord to the battery pack and start charging the batteries by plugging the power cord into the wall. The LCD screen of each battery will blink indicating it is being charged. Charging is complete when LCD screen in each battery has a steady 5 dots. Batteries can also be charged by connecting the battery pack directly to the scanner with the power cord connected.

- Setting Up the Tablet:
Charge the tablet with the cable provided with the tablet. Turn on the tablet and perform the startup procedures that as prompted. Turn on Bluetooth on the tablet from Settings>Connections>Bluetooth.
Connect the tablet to Wi-Fi to proceed with the software activation procedure.
- Installing SeeHawk® Touch Application:
Please check your email for installation and activation sent with the kit to download and activate the application. Please follow the instructions to install the SeeHawk® Touch application on the tablet. A hard copy is also sent with the kit on instructions on how to install and activate SeeHawk Touch.
- Activating SeeHawk® Touch Application License:
The email and hard copy also contain an Activation ID which needs to be entered to activate SeeHawk Touch.
- Launch SeeHawk Touch application from the tablet Homepage.
- On the Landing page, select the Overflow Menu as highlighted in red in the picture.
- Click on License.
- Once on the License Page, click on the ‘Activate License’ icon. Enter in the Activation ID provided in the email. Click ‘Activate’. Please make sure to have internet connection on the tablet when activating the license.

- Connecting Scanner to Tablet:
- Connect the battery pack with batteries to the scanner.

- Power up the scanner by pushing the Power button to the Up position – a series of built-in tests will be performed automatically. Wait until the System light (SYS) turns solid green. Connect the Bluetooth antenna to the Wi-Fi/ BT port. The Wi-Fi/BT port will have a solid blue color.

- On SeeHawk Touch click on Detect Devices. Once scanner is detected, it will appear in the Device List Window in SeeHawk Touch – Select the Scanner to connect via Bluetooth.
Connecting scanner to tablet
- Scanner is now connected to the tablet via Bluetooth. When the tablet successfully connects to the scanner via BT, the blue BT LED extinguishes. Put the scanner in the sidepack to use for indoor walk tests.
