OPERATION NOTES
Data upload to a server using FTPS connection may not work. Customers are advised to use FTP or SFTP connections to upload data.
Guidance on the use of the P25 technology, P25 Custom Channels and Custom Channel Power features:
- Only frequencies (channels) known to be P25 should be configured for the P25 Decode scan; other technologies will fail to be decoded and poor SINR values will be reported.
- Other technologies should use the Custom Channel Power feature.
Guidance on the use of setting the Antenna Frequency:
- Antenna Frequency range should be set correctly when using SeeHawk Touch. At least one RF port should cover the entire range of the band where the intended channel/frequency scan measurement is to be done. (e.g when setting up P25 decode scans on RF1, select the entire range. Set RF1 from 10MHz to 990MHz). The frequency ranges should not overlap for RF1 and RF2. The same is applicable for other technologies.
Note: SeeHawk Touch 2.1.1 or earlier must have a license upgrade to use SeeHawk Touch 2.1.3 and above. Please contact PCTEL Technical Support for additional information about upgrading license keys.

KNOWN PROBLEMS AND LIMITATIONS IN THIS RELEASE
Defect 4047 Application performance degrades when running Spectrum Analysis scan with sweep number lower than 16.
By default, Spectrum Analysis scan has sweep number set to 16. If the users change the sweep number to a lower number, the performance of the application response time may degrade.
Defect 4475 In settings with a large amount of Bluetooth activity, the Bluetooth connection to the scanner may experience some difficulty in the detection process.
SeeHawk Touch may not always detect the scanner through Bluetooth in an environment that has lots of Bluetooth devices, and repeated attempts may be required.
Defect 5191 Test file fail to export in Auto Export.
When user rename a SeeHawk drive test in SeeHawk Touch using Samsung Tab A tablet, the drive fails to properly export in SeeHawk Auto Export tool.
Defect 5543 Application stop working if user change system font size.
SeeHawk Touch application may stop working if user change the tablet system font size while application is running.
Note that Indoor Grid data are saved in multiple text format files in an open folder. Any modification to the folder or the files may corrupt the data causing the test data unusable. Users are advised to refrain from modifying the folder or files.
PROBLEMS RESOLVED IN THIS RELEASE
Defect 5389 When using the Screen Capture button, check marks displayed in the image, will not show up.
The workaround is to use the tablet’s screen grab buttons; for example, Power-Home buttons.
Defect 5393 Unable to edit iBwave floor plans.
Unable to edit iBwave floor plans without starting a scan.
Defect 5409 Display error when try to move a critical point.
SeeHawk Touch may display a saving error when try to move a critical point in Indoor Grid collection.
Defect 5410 Critical and reference point accidentally moved.
Critical point and reference point in Indoor Grid may accidentally get moved slightly when they are being selected.
Defect 5413 Critical point signal power value missing in report.
Critical point signal power value is missing from the Indoor Grid report.
Defect 5510 Fail to launch Signal Analyzer for mmWave bands.
Fail to launch Signal Analyzer for mmWave band from Indoor Grid.
Defect 5514 Fail to display map data for nr Blind Scan.
Fail to display Best Serving Cell ID / Beam Index map data for nr Blind Scan.
Defect 5539 Incorrect export data to iBwave.
SeeHawk Touch may export data with incorrect coordinates to iBwave.
Defect 5541 Software license not working in Android 10 OS.
SeeHawk Touch software license not working under Android 10 OS causing application not usable.
Defect 5556 Incorrect Indoor Grid building result.
SeeHawk Touch may display incorrect Indoor Grid building result if users change the Apply Adjacent Area Rule settings while in the building result. Workaround is to move to the floor result and back to building result to cause a refresh.
