Please save the original packaging material for use when returning your PCTEL SeeHawk® Monitor Remote Test Unit (RTU).
Using the correct packaging helps protect the SeeHawk Monitor RTU during shipment and reduces the risk of additional damage in transit.
Before You Begin
Before packaging the RTU, confirm that you have:
- SeeHawk Monitor RTU being returned
- Foam endcaps
- White PCTEL inner box
- Larger brown outer shipping box
- Packaging tape
Do not ship the RTU loose inside the box. The foam endcaps and inner box should be used to properly protect the unit during shipment.
Step 1: Place Foam Endcaps on the RTU
Place the foam endcaps securely on both ends of the SeeHawk Monitor RTU.
Make sure the foam endcaps are fully seated and protect the corners and sides of the unit.
The RTU should fit snugly between the foam endcaps before it is placed into the shipping box.
Step 2: Place the RTU in the Shipping Boxes
Place the white PCTEL inner box inside the larger brown outer shipping box.
Place the SeeHawk Monitor RTU, with the foam endcaps attached, inside the larger brown box.
Make sure the RTU is positioned securely and does not move freely inside the packaging.
Step 3: Seal the Box
Close the larger brown shipping box.
Seal the box securely using packaging tape.
Apply enough tape to keep the box closed during shipment.
Important Notes
- Save and reuse the original packaging whenever possible.
